'Til You'Re Mine - Poem by Kelsi Benson
When she let me down, when she let me fall,
You were there for me, I need you to get through it all.
Once I hated you, then I was your friend,
But something changed in me, now I want you by my side 'til the end.
My days used to be spent hating life and writing an on-going sad story,
Now I wake to smile, and when I think of you, I see my life filled with glory.
Never before did I see you were always on my side, and now, now I recognize,
You're on my side as I want you there, and for all I know, you could be my true love in disguise.
Now days I long for you, I wish for our hearts to twine.
I've come to realize I may love you and I'll wait for you 'til you're mine.
