Too Late

Eyes wide open
And full of fear
From those eyes
Came a single tear

Mouth sewn shut
With words left unsaid
You could've saved her life
But now she's dead

It's too late
To wonder why
She's six feet under
Lightening illuminates the sky
And in rolls the thunder

Fists clenched tight
Blood seeps from your opened vein
You took your life that night
And wiped your bloody hands on her grave
