We Sow - Poem by ENRIQUE ALBERTO HURTADO MINOTTA

We sow the seed of the life
in the garden of the love
in a night full of stars
under loving moonlight.

We sow the seed of the live
with the sweat of our bodies,
groaning of our souls
and quick beating of your heart and mine

We sow the seed of the life
soothed by the harmonious tunes of that old song
that gently with its melodious notes
broke the deep silence of the night.

With the passing of the time
our garden filled itself with flowers
and in our orchard the love was harvested.
Today in the fullness of our lives
we lift the eyes to the sky
to thank to God in a silent prayer
and to tell him that
our garden of the hope
it is the garden of love made reality! !
