Whats A Girl Supposed To Do? - Poem by Tamara Moir

You were always there when I needed you,
Never left my side,
Always there to lean on,
And dry the tears I cried.

I could always talk to you,
You never seemed to mind,
Your voice so honest and gentle,
Your words so honest and kind.

I thought I'd never meet
Anyone as sweet as you
But then you just left me
Whats a girl suposed to do?

You gave me hope
A reason to live
Never was I alone
And taught me to forgive

You showed me tricks
To make me laugh when I was sad
You suprised me with gifts
Oh, all the fun we had

I thought you'd never leave
Thought this time, it was true
But then you disappeared
Well whats a girl supposed to do?
