You Mean Alot - Poem by satyender saharan

Quicker like sand,
I will fall for you.
Higher than mountain,
I will stand for you.
Deeper than ocean
i will love you
will always walk along with you
as your shadow.

The day i saw you
i was on the seventh sky
and till date i am helpless to come back.
when you cry I die
when you laugh I live
and when you leave
i am just a body of sand
and the option i am left with
i need to wait.

Topic(s) of this poem: broken heart, lonely

Form: Acrostic

A nice theme behind the poem which can be improved on. For example the first five lines can be expressed as:
    Quicker than falling sand,
    I will fall for you.
    Higher than the highest mountain,
    I will stand for you.
    Deeper than the deepest ocean,
    I will love you true.

So effectively you have brought out the deep emotion of love and loneliness.
Appropriate words and visual imagery makes it a very nice poem.

    It is natural pull
    that makes you lull
    for the want of union
    and make her as companion

I love the feel of this poem, a person longing for that special person to come forward, reaching out and calling in heart and soul, whispering, prayiing, I want you, I need you, I love you. It is apparent here that the only happiness will be found when that one true love comes into the of the broken heart...Excellent imagery here as well as you as a poet was able to bring the reader into the poem and gave them a close up view of the situation...I love when a poet is able to do that.....
