4 Judgement Day - Poem by ERI CGP

Lie and deceive
Continue enabling the wicked game
To be played
While you're slowly being eaten
By guilt and shame
Hoping and praying
That they'll never find out
That behind the cool façade
Is a conniving bastard
That makes up, covers up
Until he loses track
Stuck in the morass
Inevitably breaking down
And thanking the one
That exposed you.

Where did it all begin?
Why did it have to continue?
You learned from the best
That truth is only convenient
When it involves the rest of humanity
Change is hard
Especially if the motives
And desires are ingrained
Front and center by so called
Heroes that are deathly afraid
Of being called out as weak
They are as vulnerable
As the sheep they tend to
Yet continue to flock
To the powerful voice
Whose words mean absolutely nothing
Once stripped away.

A lot to answer for
Once judgment day calls
And your biggest fear is finally revealed
That all the intellectual, scientific blowhards
You looked up to
Are deemed ignorant idiots
For they said there is no God
While stroking their egos
Yet he sees, takes notes and forgets nothing
It's just something to think about
Beyond the nauseating navel gazing
That is a permanent reflex
Of a minimizing guru that
Believes he's always right
And that the world, not him is screwed up
So write a check quickly.
