A Lonely Bluebird Sings - Poem by Ashley somethingorother

I am walking down a pathway,
maddened by the fight.
That may mother and I had,
late the other night.

She said, 'you cannot date him, '
I said, 'I don't know why! '
She told me, 'he only wants one thing,
and get it, he will try.'

So he took me to this party,
and took me to this room.
I told him i don't want to,
I could tell he started to fume.

He started calling me names,
like tease, slut and whore.
I told him, 'I still don't want to,
and I don't want to go out anymore.'

I cant beleive that she was right,
and i can't beleive I'm wrong!
I always beleived that he loved me,
I beleived it for so long.

I am walking down a pathway,
taking off his rings.
And in the brightened distance,
a lonely bluebird sings.
