A Tired Mid Night Snuggle Of Comfort - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I am so deeply weary, exhausted and tired my dear
and I'm reaching out to wrap you up in my arms
for a snuggle of true comfort and peace with you
my sweet Queen and Angel,
feel all of my care and loving warmth as I pull you in
and give you a kiss for a very tired and longing
mid night snuggle of comfort with you my sweet Kira.
I love you my darling and to be with you my true love
in hopes of fully relaxing for some good sleep
that will be very refreshing as a needed blessing.
A tired mid night snuggle of true love and comfort
with you my darling beautiful Kira.
I have only lay here drifting off a fair bit
as my sleep has been very erratic and irregular my dear
and I want to share a sweet peaceful mid night
snuggle with you as we both took such deep comfort
laying down next to each other and said I love you
and share some sweet kisses,
I'm reaching out my sweet darling to pull you in
for a tired and truly loving mid night snuggle.
To just lay down holding you and to be held by you in return
is such a truly comforting feeling I'm wanting and needing.
So feel my arms so warm and lovingly wrap around you
as I pull you in closely and feel peace in your heart
as I kiss you so sweetly and say
share this sweet and so very tired mid night
snuggle with me Kira because I so deeply love you
and just want you to be here beside me,
you are my Angel who gives me deep peace and comfort
and I want you to be filled with those feelings to
so I will be holding you tightly against me in loving care.
God bless you sweet lady and feel all of
my loving warmth fill you up as we rest our weary heads
for a tired mid night snuggle of deep loving comfort and care
just basking in the warm glow of the true loving care that we share.
