Aromatic Verses - Omnivore - Poem by Clive Culverhouse

By day
Cut short

A sun filled
Eaten by
Time's greed

Poet's Notes about The Poem

As a smell gives hint of the flower, so the words in my Aromatic Verses hint in just a few lines. These profound words are in two four-line stanzas, each line alternating three and two syllables. And of course, the title, an equally important part of the poem.
The Aromatic Verses are written and infused to be read slowly… with a lengthy fragrant ponder.
