As Of Late - Poem by Jim Johnson

As of late it seems my soul was tired
love was bound and closed with wire
Words were once spoken
but then were broken

The turmoil that went through my head
had made my nerves seem dead
Without you
my soul was split in two

All i want is just me and you
living together love renewed
Love undying
and completely true
