Call What You Will - Poem by Kevin Brodeur
don't know who...
It must of been the songwriter...
who siad life is just one long song,
And was it the poet that wrote
it down and spun into a tail of woe,
And the scientist with all their
knowledge only end up showing us
that gods not asleep at the wheel,
Big bang theory natural phenomena.
Hmm, I think not...
wasn't it god who said if I give
them too much rope....
Do I really need to finish that line?
Have I just been found with way
too much rope or just too much time?
would you say I've gone around bend?
Or would you say Im wise beyon my years?
Sinner saint what part would you have me play?
For I can be all these...
If indeed thats what you need,
Gaze into my eyes long enough and
you my just see yourself...
remember too always take care of
the things inwhich it is you seek,
For you just may find them...
So when the burden seems heavy
and your cup seems all so low,
And the wolves are getting bold,
Baying just outside the door...
You may find rest here
theres an ever open door
