Come Hold Me Tight - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Come hold me tight sweet love,
the anxiety is still out of control
but I've made a new playlist on spotify
to relax and am going to lay down.
Please come hold me tight filling me with
your loving peace and strength.
Help me to know I'm not alone in this
horrible anxious state.
Come hold me tight my Angel of light,
help stop these anxious shivers that just came on,
from where I honestly know not.
The costs of being mentally ill I guess,
please come hold me tight filling me with comfort.
Right now I need my lady of hope and true love
more than ever.
I love you so much and I'm sorry if I get little
to no more writing done today,
I'm locked up almost completely in every way.
Please come hold me tight and help cure this internal fright,
you are the best medicine for these shakes and shivers I feel.
Come hold me tight for I already know that I'm loved,
I just want to feel the warm calming peace in your arms,
feel my lady up against me emiting safe energy.
I love you my lady divine and I'm so glad that you're mine,
please come hold me tight and help stop this anxiety.
