Dangerous Love - Poem by Bill Cantrell

Spin me with your silky thread
Then sink your fangs deep in my neck
Drop me from your satin sheets
Love is but a tangled web

Oh, no....spiders and the viscious web we weave when first we practice to deceive: love triangles, et all comes back to us. GREAT write! (Report) Reply

Talk about Dangerous! You are a Dangerous writer. You've got me cringing... feeling the whispery passage of spider feet across my skin. {{{{Shiver}}}} And I didn't do anything to you- just opened the page and read this poem. Now I have the shakes and some indignation. Seriously, this is a memorable piece- its imagery will stay with me especially as I climb into my bed tonight wondering if there is a blood-sucking vengeance-seeking metaphor hanging about... Moira, Sandra, and sunprincess all have it right- -this is quality writing and I agree! (Report) Reply

This sounds like it should be used in a folktale - it has a magical quality about it. (Report) Reply
