Dead Inside - Poem by Ivan Bolden

Beep Beep Beep
6: 15 this morning
God i'm still alive
Open and closed my eyes
By these things conflicting with me
And my sanity
And priorities
But just one thing
You forgot about me

Cuz i'm dead inside
Cuz i'm dead inside

Seems all I got is time
To waste
On nothing but these Trivial things, I
Wonder why?
I woke up this morning, Lawd!
Help me out on this
So I can see what L-I-F-E truly is

Cuz i'm dead inside
Cuz i'm dead inside
