Do I Love You? - Poem by (brief renderings) Joe Fazio
I wanted to have someone to
grow old with. I wanted someone to
have a life with. I wanted, once again,
to love someone and to have someone
I wanted to come home in the middle
of the day...with flowers in hand
and have someone to laugh with...make
I wanted to do a million things with
the one I loved.
I wanted to make that person the happiest
person in the world.
Do I love you? Are you the one?
I know...and you know...you're
not the one.
I wish with all my heart...you were.
