Fooled - Poem by Nicholas Aleo

They're all fooled.
They're all fooled.
They're all fooled.
But they're not!

You're always standing behind a cloak,
Thinking no one sees you.
Tryin' not ot act suspicious, you sip on a coke,
But you can't hide from me boo.
You know I see you.

He fooled.
She fooled.
They fooled.
But what about that boy over there?
He ain't.

Don't you know I'm bad?
Don't you know I'm hood?
Don't you know I could do things that your chick
wish she could?

I know you hidin'
You hidin'
We could get up so high that we flyin'

You stand there
so far away.
I'll stand here all night and day.
Through thick and thin,
and what's far away.
You never gonna push me that far away.

I see you.
You see me.
Is it gonna be what it seems?
Or is it gonna be what's in our dreams?

I don't believe in apparent truths.
I believe in what I see,
and what we can be
and all that is is you and me
and you and me
til' e-ter-nity.

We'll sit by a lake watching a blue moon
and all that it's gonna be is me and you.

They're fooled...
They're fooled...
They're fooled...
