Girls Have Issues - Poem by SarahLee Emilaire

Now this statement isn’t news,
When boys say that girls have issues.
There is surely no debating there,
Especially when it comes to combing hair.

Girls have pride and sense in their appearance,
And therefore take a measure of time to dress; rest assurance.
They ensure that with all this spent time,
That they are problem free and best in their prime.

Girls express themselves to the fullest,
So there is no misunderstanding them; not even the smallest.
They strive to absorb much knowledge and skills today,
In preparation for later when the boys can’t afford to pay.

They refused to learn or to have any manners,
Now they scrape for second-hand job interviews in the papers.
They are turned away as a result of wasting time prior,
Which they should have used to improve their attire.

They then try to cling to girls for their life’s wire,
But then destroy the bond with endless lies and fail to aspire.
So now boys try to live with continuous trouble,
While girls thrive with fortune and their salary continues to double.

So yes it is indeed true,
Every girl at least has one issue.
And although they are not the shiniest gems,
We all know for sure that boys have problems.
