Love (3) - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

She, the genesis of opulent emotion
To the deepest spaces
Of the infected heart
A strain of yearning
Inebriated of desire
Dancing in cycles of uninhibited folly
The apical truth of man's tryst with mortality
A metaphysical panacea
Ambrosia to man's inner being
The nave of humanity
Escorting man to an enshrined divinity
The inundation of the heart
With tides of intoxicating mirth
Ether for converging magnetic forces
For the congruence of destinies
Blinded in essence by the splendor of her strain
The fabric of inner beauty
Unconditional yet authentic
Like the sun and her warmth
The cosmos of mankind
The holy grail of ataraxia
The tapestry of holism
The backbone of intangible matrices of atoms
The vertebra of our existence
The elan vital of man
