My Soul - Poem by Clayton Snyder

I cope no more
I live no more
The hope is lost
What I had isgone
Whats left is no fun
Whats left is my soul
Just treapped
In its lonely cage
The cage is small
The bars dig in
There is no hope
No kind words left
Whats left is my soul
This can't be undone
It's too late for help
It's too late for life
All of it, gone
They took it
They stole it
They hid it somewhere
And whats left is a tare
Where my soul should be
Nothing is left
Not even my soul
Nothing is said
Everything is lost
