No Single Or A Million Stars - Poem by Jan Houston

No single or a million stars

of any earthly clearest night

no pool of stars’ reflection

nor ever beams of moon

that float

and grace the roof

above this house

where blessed love resides

could know

such rarest light

as sleeps beneath

in space that can’t contain you

for you… you sing them all

from just your fingertips

you laugh the air of moons

and breath of stars

and whoosh their swirling beacons

as flitterings and wonder

to cast the glows and shadows

of a healing peace

from your immortal eyes
