Run Free - Poem by Karan Gujarathi

There's nothing left to do
and, There's nothing left to say
When you were needed the most
You kept on walking away

When the clouds were darker
When there was a thunder, a rain
You never had the heart
You kept walking again

Your mother shed her tears
Was more than her fair share
You had set her tears on fire
but, You walked with no care

Sins of the past grew
Grew from a seed to a tree
Your feet entangled in it's roots
And you could never walk free

U have another chance now
They need your help, they do
They await for divine intervention
Like lost at sea, a crew

Walk to them now
Walk with all your heart
Buid a temple, a home and a library
Make yourself a part

There's wind in your hair again
Forget the bruised knee
Get up and dust yourself
Get up and run free
