Spoilt - Poem by Danielle Guscott
Ambitious bud embraces the light
Desperate for growth and nurture
Love and warmth.
Bud grows strong, and
Coming into full bloom;
Blocks out the sun
Sucks the earth dry.
Rose kills its competition.
She is solitary beauty.
Is what I have become.
