Sweet Sixteen - Poem by Ula Goss

I am a willow, weeping
for sorrow's lost reaping

I am passion's flame
Hidden in loves name

The scarlet innocence
The cream of adolescences
Captured in a moment
Time the only opponent

I am a woman, Eve
I travel life, with a poem in my pocket and a dream up my sleeve
