The Protector 8

the victims continue their fight
against all odds, the accused
is a criminal who wields power, for
the protector is under his mercy.

the powerful home secretary
threatened to remove them from their jobs
in the national railroad company
and other government posts,

and disqualify them all from
participating in international events;
for the young sportspersons
who have dedicated their lives
for the sport and the nation,
this was the end of the road;
their livelihood was at stake
in the banana republic!

so the women had to abandon
their struggle midway and
report for duty immediately;
the rapist grins triumphantly.
