To That Beautiful Girl - Poem by Jeremy Rascon

To that beautiful girl I always see
The one I will never be able to talk to
The feeling I’ll never be able to decree
To that beautiful girl, the one perfect for me

To that beautiful girl I always see
Your smile, beyond words
Your eyes, beyond words
Your mind, beyond words
Any combination of symbols we call letters
Could never be arranged to create a word
Even close to describe you.
And even though we barely speak,
I feel like we have a connection,
I don’t know maybe Im just weak.
As I stand by and watch
As time flew
You would be in pain
I watched as idiotic guys would hurt you
Beautiful girl you deserve better and more
Beautiful girl secretly I’ll admire galore
They may not care about you
But don’t give up,
To that beautiful girl I always see
Could we?
Would we?
Should we?
That beautiful girl I always see..
Never together will we be…
Not that you’re not good enough
its other stuff..
its me, too shy to say that one “hello”
maybe not shy, more like scared..
I don’t want to have to say that one “goodbye”
So Instead of taking that risk I’ll sit here and sigh
Daydream of what we could be
Nightmares of how it could end
Playing the what if game..
Living a life so tame..
To that beautiful girl I always see…
Just forget about me.
Because.. I will try to forget about you.
