Traveling Mind - Poem by Palas Kumar Ray

My mind, my once wet mind, now dries.
Swaying on hot winter air now she flies.
Unfurling her pair of folded wings so far
My mind now flies away too far, too far.

My mind, my poor mind, now she plays
Playing hide and seek with the sun-rays
Toasting every feather now she spreads
My mind, my thick mind, see how frays!

My mind, my clogged mind see now freed
How breathing fresh air see now in greed.
How swirling in air now see left and right
My traveling mind's getting everyday bright!
