Having to stand, an oak, and not to
Bear, for time, in shading's way
What heavy hangs, droopily limbed;
Frustative blown, groanless stay!
Loyal of heart, oaken tough. In
Perseverance, firm rooted.
Through lamentable bursts, dark sky's;
Weighed of, nights, less disputed!
Can I with this tree thus sympathize.
For in waiting on your word
Its long-suffering's mine, bids to drop
Each joy-bubbly note of bird.
