When I First Layed Eyes On You... - Poem by david winkler

When I first layed eyes on you i knew it was true,
When I first layed eyes on you i knew what to do,
I knew that these feelings weren't to be ignored,
But loved, charished and adored,
Your eyes gleamed like the moon does at midnight,
Your hair waved like the ocean in far from sight,
Your every move planned with such passion,
And your smile managed in a orderly fashion,
I obsess over your every touch,
And blessed for it so much,
Your laugh brightens my soul,
And once again makes me whole,
I knew that it was true,
And even till this day this is all i knew,
For you were my love,
Angel from above,
In everything I ever wanted,
And everything I ever flaunted,
I knew it was love at first sight,
And that you and me were just right.
