The sands of time
The winds of change
I was there that day
The earth stood still
When lightning rained
And waves washed away
All that was me
I let myself die;
Now in the distance
A journey uphill
A foolish fire
A will-o'-wisp
Or a desert mirage
Is all that I see
It makes me cry
A beautiful lie
