Dear Mum (About Anorexia)

My lips are dry
I feel like crying
I smile on the outside
On the inside I'm dying

The taste of perfection
The taste of air
The question 'why? '
I know it's not fair

I am crying for help
But I run when I'm scared
I would love to be normal
If anyone cared

I am shrinking in my own mind
I want to fade to air
I am calling your name
It's like you don't care

The taste is still here
The taste of water
Since you don't see me
I'm my own mourner

Someday when you think about me
You will realise I needed your help
You turned your back on me
Now I am un-stable and I'm dying

Thanks for your help
