Facing Me - Poem by voldy rules

your dreams are drifting away,
as you whisper them in the freezing night breeze
as your innocent eyes,
get mixed up with your agonies and your hidden fears
as the guilt in being alive, eats you from the inside out
as your honest hands, writes a poem that it knows nothing about
as you say good-bye, to the empty pages in your childhood
as you start a new life, with new sorrows that can never be understood
