Guilt - Poem by Dhruv Dikshit
Don’t search me,
You’ll never find what you desire,
It’ll hurt you and embarrass me.
Don’t look for the answers,
You’ll never find’em appropriate, n
It’ll enrage you and fail me.
Don’t explore my beyonds,
You’ll find nothing extra-ordinary,
It’ll dishearten you and discourage me.
Don’t question these co-incidences,
You’ll find’em my creations,
It’ll perplex you and disturb me.
Don’t correct my flaws,
You’ll never turn them perfect.
It’ll frustrate you and irritate me
Don’t cover my sins,
You’ll become a bad lawyer,
It’ll demoralise you and destroy me.
Don’t run for my cause,
Your fatigue’d remain worthy no more,
It’ll disappoint you and haunt me.
Don’t argue my faith,
You won’t believe what you did,
It’ll stagger you and annihilate me.
Don’t blame yourself,
They were all just impressions,
Of your trust and my guilt.
