Weeping Willow

Heart On A Vine

Tired of my heart being held together
by a vine
Broken inside out of no tomorrows
Keeping words within
In life with a silent companion
Struggling to catch my breath
As sighs fill my eyes

I'm an invisible person in a golden cage

I can't fly

Depression comes close
to my soul

My words scream from my insides
Through the veins of my heart
Bleeding through me
As it echo's into my veins
Within my silent tears
Silence is all I hear
As my heart hangs on a vine.
