I'M Sorry - Poem by Tyson Fillmore

I'm sorry you finally understand.
It was never part of the plan.
You suffer from a great hurt.
Sometimes you want to bury your emotions in the dirt.
I will always be here for you little one.
To show you that getting through this can be done.
And when you feel like your world is about to end.
Know that my strength I will lend.
And my love I do send.
You suffer a hurt you shouldn't know.
But the way you handle it goes to show.
It shows that you faced a problem beyond your years, and you understood.
So please don't be bitter.
And don't you be hateful.
Because in the end she will be grateful.
So trust me now, it'll be alright.
And know that you're in my prayers, every night.
Keep your chin up, you've nothing to fear.
Know that in heart and spirit, I'm right here.
I know I'm not there to give you the hug you need.
And so I ask, no I plead.
I plead you will forgive me for it, its beyond my control.
This guilt, don't worry, it takes it toll.
I hope you do, though you may not believe it.
But I call you 'Little sister' and I truly mean it.
