Il Y A - Poem by Damabiah 777

There are some screams that one can not restrain
Some sufferings we don't want to remind
A past too present, a future too absent
A fire dying down after braving the wind

There are some souls we put in chains
Some battles we try to make ours
Some tears we hide behind a smile
While a poison destroys our inside

There are some goodbyes that can not be said
Some memories we would like to replay
Some hands we catch to never be alone
Some thoughts we forget to ban incertitude

There are some lives we would like to shutter
Based on fake values and meaningless pleasure
In unblemished dreams we just would like to stay
Forever be drown in the mirror of Eden

But there are some hopes that we won't give away
Where others have fallen we still stand up and pray
There are some whispers we're still dying to hear
For which we breathe on, walk on, year after year
