Illusion - Poem by Ernesto Castillo

Illusion I see of a woman
that looks just like you
Oh it maybe is you
but I’m holding my doubt
Of my heart pounding heart
with my chest beating loud
With me holding your hand
crammed right in this crowd
As the train starts to stop
I feel we’re pushed away
Oh I try to keep with you
to sit with you today
As I heard the train scream
‘it’s time for you to go’
I ran away with you.
As you ran you let me know

It’s an illusion in your mind
It's an illusion in your mind
