Light In The Darkest Places - Poem by Kathryn O'Connor
See my angel, I am here.
Hold me close, so I am near.
I love you so, more than you know.
Kiss me now, hold me tight.
So that I may be greedy tonight.
I love you forever, more than my own right.
You're everything in my life.
Please do not do this, you make me fright.
Please let me love you tonight.
You're the one I hold so dear.
No one else could hold a candle near.
In the silence there's only one thing I hear.
Your gentle heart beat calls you near.
I hear your name and gasp for breath.
Please not today, do not call for death.
I shall hold you forever, never touched by time.
A skilled actor reciting a line.
I shall cling tight to you, the most prized possession of mine.
It lays in your arms, look after my heart.
Please leave it in only one part.
Always and forever, till death do us part.
But know you shall always own my heart.
