Not Yet Gone - Poem by RebeccaSaphira Black

each night I waste away,
in sighs filled with sorrow,
sighs of false hope,
waiting for tomorrow,

I wait day and night,
hopin you'll come home,

here I am,
and here I stand,
here I wait,
and I wait,
for you I wait,
I pray,
I prey for you,
come back to me,

for you're not dead,
but only I can see,

so here I am,
and here I stand,
here I wait,
and I wait for you.
