Oh Alcohol - Poem by Shen Lap.
what's this hold you have on me,
Oh Alcohol, why can't you let me be.
you always know when I'm in need,
Oh Alcohol, I never want to put you down not even to breathe.
I'm never sober not one minute of the day,
Oh Alcohol, everybody keeps telling you're not the way.
I am 17 years of age
and already I've become your slave.
So it's time to put the bottle down
I need to stay firm and stand my ground.
Oh vodka, this is the last you'll see of me,
you already took my father and you won't take me.
Alcohol, Oh Alcohol,
I'm setting myself free....
