Shopper-Holic Dreams - Poem by Fara Sani

lately my imaginations have run riot out of the ordinary
like for example i dream your were on sale in my tv
i've yet to buy anything but i'm very tempted to
if i were to dial the number i'm surely to pick you
as the host yelp the hot last item that wouldn't last long
i scurried off to order before it was gone
for once i knew i had to buy a genuine real live YOU
and the only way was to call into
as the programme promise a quick delivery
so it wasn't quite a wait as i thought it would be
alll i was to do was sign and you're mine forever
noone could take you away, no matteror whatever.
i found it hard to believe such fate
& of course he was worth the wait
i was afraid to pinch myself for fear it'll be a dream
but i swear its not as phony as it seem
when suddenly mum woke me up
and i knew i was out of luck
my dream was so realistic, oh dear
i could feel the tenderness of his touch being near
as i ran my way to school not being late for my lessons
i'm still not out of the hallucinations
it was so real so i grab him by his T.
and shouted, 'go buy your own one cause this one belongs to me! '
