Thank You - Poem by Lynzi Berner

Thank you

You don't know it
but you gave me
the best gift
just from letting me
get to know you

You gave me back
my words

While I had grown
jaded
and had stopped looking
for beauty
in the ordinary things

So thank you
for shwoing me how
to open my eyes
again
and behold all
the beauty
that is life
