An Ode To My Fathers Children - Poem by adelaide perham

daddy, why do you scream each night in your bed, cold sweats and a
saw head? why do you shout 'the flies' the flies' when we cant see

them with our own eyes? while mummy cools you down with a cloth you
yell 'his legs' 'his legs' its alright daddy tommy and me will stay at the
door, to hear you scream 'the war' 'the war'.
