Dying Goodbyes - Poem by jossett mcmillan

As I lay dying
seeing the eagle flying
I close my eyes
from all the goodbyes
somethings seem to be unreal
but they are more real than I
the nightmare is just begining
from all the difficulties
and hatred used for all
the wrong and right reasons
as i breathe the light turns
to darkness
