Forbidden

If she saw these thoughts in my head
...Not much else would be said
That look of sheer disgust
That I chose her to entrust-
My dirty...sexual thoughts
That look of disappointment- that
I found a way to hurt her
It's not my fault I feel the way I do,
That when she looks at me her eyes scream 'you'
That when she talks, I listen and understand
Those subtle things that are underhand
You make me feel like I'm on air...
But to know this you would glare and shout 'I don't care'
And take what we had...turn it into hate...
Because a love like mine- for you is forbidden
And therefore, here it shall always remain hidden.
