Håvard Reiersgård

Goodbye - Poem by Håvard Reiersgård

Lying on the floor
Just came in the door
See him hanging dead
Didn’t believe what he said

Blood pouring from the cuts
You think you’ll go nuts
Thinking ‘bout the days you spent
Feels like your love was for rent

You scream loudly in the night
All you want to do is fight
Now your life’s a living hell
You just want to say farwell

Thinking ‘bout how life has been
All the things you’ve seen
Realizing life axially was great
Although it’s now much to late

Your last step is now taken
Starting to feel you neck achin’
The leap of fate is over now
Wondering when, where and how
