Gran Poem by james watkin

Gran

Rating: 5.0

Chaired; gran's darkened off presence;
Blanketted; waist, knee.
Still; yet alive and aging
As shows half fallen in
An ivy-wrapped tree.

Days recalled; of these but lit!
Wattle's in bloom, prized.
World-centred, what all around
Drew bee's lustful sound.
Wasp-eyeballed; wasp-sized!
