I Cherish You - Poem by Michael P. McParland

I love and cherish you now
more than I ever have before.
My heart melts and my knees go weak
at just the thought of you sweet one.
My heart overflows with admiration
and pure love I want to share with you.
You are a precious jewel so rare
and I treasure you for who you are.

I cherish you my dear for all the
good times we've had with each other
through it all.
Despite the lessons that have been learned
I don't focus on the bad because
it does no good to let that stuff in.
I choose to remember that shining smile,
to close my eyes and hear your voice so Angelic.
To just reach out my hand and take yours
to pull you in and squeeze in spirit.
I treasure you and feel so good
when I am with or talk to you.

You are a rare and gorgeous diamond in the rough
and I love that you will not be pushed.
You stand for what you believe and know is right
and I cherish that you won't back down.
I love that you stand tall for those who need your
true kind and caring loving help.
You look out for those who need a helping hand,
I cherish you because you've helped me in
true kindness and giving love
and I've tried to give as much as I can back to you.
I will always give you everything I have in me,
I cherish you dear and love you deep.

I cherish you because of the strong bond we share
and all the deep love I feel for you,
you are my sweet Angel and great Queen
and for you I'll do anything.
I cherish your heart and spirit so truly big,
I cherish the loving that you share.
I treasure you my only one
because I love you Kira my only
sweet Angel dove.
