Pills - Poem by Matt Palmer

Ah, to live by the pill.
Chemical solutions,
Saccharine convenience,
Palatability.
The pill is for
Clean wholesome men and women.
The pill is from
Clean wholesome doctors,
Clean wholesome laboratories,
Clean wholesome corporations.
The pill creates
Clean wholesome lives.
May only God exceed the pill in praise,
Though God is just a phase.
Forever we will eat our pills,
Forever curing Godless ills,
Forever turning nights to days.
For the moment, we will say
God bless the pill.
