The Lie - Poem by Melissa Devane

I lied

and lost it all

and my heart and soul died

and now farther into darkness i fall

i dont want you to go

i dont want this to end

and i love you so

and i know this is going to be hard to mend

but please give me one more chance

i promise i can change

i can get my mind out of a trance

i know that i have been acting strange

let me know how you feel

scream at me if you must

i want us to heal

i dont want our freindship to turn to dust
