There Are Times.. - Poem by Deanna I..

There are times...
Where I feel like I am invisible.
No one seems to see me,
Yet I see them as happy as can be.

There are times...
When I am held hostage by my own thoughts
Tied, bound, and gagged,
I can only sit and watch,
As my world unfolds before me.

There are times...
Where I feel like starting all over,
Leaving everything behind,
And opening up to a new place.

There are times...
Where I just want to scream.
Scream until my lungs give out,
Screaming until I can't scream anymore.

There are times...
Where I wish I could be someone else.
Living their life, and seeing what they see.
And not the person I've become.

There are times...
Where I wish I could correct my mistakes.
Just to fix everything.
I'd do whatever it takes,
To fix it all.

There are always times...
Where I wish I could stay,
Forever overlooking the ocean.
To watch the waves roll on and on.
Never ceasing for a second in time.
To watch the storms,
Creating scenes,
That one could only imagine.

There are times...
When I realize that my life is like an instrumental song.
With its crescendos and decrescendos,
Repeats and codas,
With feelings and expressions
That continue on,
For all of time.
